Inspirational Music & Movies
On this page I may share my thoughts regarding pieces of art which happen to carry a message related to Conscious Creation and spirituality in general. Sometimes this message will be intentional, and in other instances it's just about what I've read into these works of art. Either way, whenever I encounter something which seems to fit the description, I will likely mention it here.
Movies
The Matrix
OK, this is an obvious one. This movie provides an excellent visual portrayal of an illusory world which is generated via our thoughts and self-image. There is even one scene which clearly spells this out. It's not like everything about the movie is spiritual, because there are action scenes in it after all. But overall, it is of great of interest if you are spiritually inclined.
What Dreams May Come
This movie, in my opinion, is just fantastic. It shows how our thoughts and beliefs create our experience. It does so in a very poetic and laid-back manner, so it may not be for everyone. If you are into fast-paced action, this is not for you. But if you prefer your movies to be imaginative and relaxed, with romance being a central subject, and spiritual insights sprinkled throughout, then this could be your favourite movie ever.
Music
Sleeping Awake - POD
This song is definitely in the running for the most meaningful lyrics ever. If you are into the nature of reality, then almost every line will sound interesting.
Go with the Flow - Queens of the Stone Age
Well, the song title pretty much says it. If you want some musical inspiration for going with your intuition, then you may just like this(if you don't like explicit content, then refrain from watching the video for this song, by the way).
Don't look Back in Anger - Oasis
The first verse of this song just sounds like a manual for visualization! If you listen to it from that perspective, you'll hear what I mean.
The Masterplan - Oasis
The lyrics of this song just have an overall an overall mystical nature to it, and some of what is said could be interpreted as a direct reference to the power of intention; not least the line which talks about ships sailing and arriving on the shore.
