From Reaction to Attraction Book

Intention

What do you really want? This is one of the central questions regarding the subject of achievement. In order to attract something, our energy needs to be in resonance with it. And for our energy to resonate to the vibrational state of whatever it is that we want, we need to consistently broadcast a vibrational state of like energy.

If we broadcast a mixed energy, we get mixed results. This is why it is so important for us to have a clear intention. If we're so sure about what we want to exprience, then we've got a clear energy after all. So how do we determine what it is that we want? That can actually be surprisingly simple. Three steps can complete the process:

1.Think of what you don't want. This is probably really easy.
2. Then turn that around. So if you don't like to not have enough spare time, then you could turn it around to "I always have exactly as much spare time as I feel like having"
3. Determine the feeling essence which underlies the wanting identified in step 2. Why do you wnat to have more spare time? Is it so you can enjoy yourself? To be adventurous? To relax? Figure out the why beneath the wanting, and then go for that!

That's probably not too easy to do because we tend to get attached to our wishes, but as always I'm just passing on information, and it's up to you what to make of it. I would certainly suggest taht if we want to experience true fulfliment, we need to go for the feeling essence underlying what we want, rather than the thing itself.

The thing we want (from step 2) is almost always just an expression of a deeper wanting. the deeper the wanting we are allowing ourselves to set goals for, the more energyw e are likely to find for them. And the more energy we devote to the process of acquiring something, the more likelyw e are to get it. Not just in terms of energy being used for physical effort; but also energy in the sense of what we are attuned to.
