From Reaction to Attraction Book

Everflowing Change

If you wanted to write a story, wouldn't it be easier to do so when you use a relatively blank sheet of paper? It could be said that your life is a story. In a slightly similar way to the blank piece of paper, having a 'clear' (but not empty) mind would be agreat help when shifting your beliefs. The more rigid beliefs are present in a mind, the harder it is to take on a new sense of reality, which in turn would shift the person's experience. There is that wonderful quote which is attributed to Thomas Dewar, which states: "Minds are like parachutes; they only function when they're open."

Precisely. In order for things to improve, they have to change, and from this it follows that if you want your life to improve, you need to be willing to have thigns change. Considering that your life is a reflection of you, it means that you need to be willing to change. Are you?

Are you willing to acknowledge that there may be more to life than you thought there was? As far as I'm aware, one of the most important factors in regards to someone's chances of continuously waking up is that they are willing to admit to themselves that life is not as they thought it was whenever the evidence presents itself. If, no matter how much evidence you encounter, you don't ever change your view on life, then can you truly be said to have advanced? Some people are really just interested in living a peaceful life, rather than to consistently inquire what it is all about, and that's fine. But the point is taht if you want to advance, you need to be willing to adjust your state of being as you go along.

When we are in a state of openness to knowledge, rather than the denial of it, then our lives can turn into one continuous upwards spiral towards a greater and greater awareness, with a momentum so strong that the only end to the journey can and will be the realization of what we have been moving toward all along. Then, we can be said to truly be on a journey.

Another point is worth making here: Rigid thought is of a vibrationally 'dense' energy, which means that the more rigid our thought processes are, the less likely we are to connect with the higher realms. We really do need to be willing to change if we are to advance on on our journey in the most efficient manner possible. If you are willing to change, you are ready to advance, and if you are ready to progress, then you are prepared to truly figure out what the nature of reality is all about.

When we are open-minded, and have a frame of mind which is considering all possibility, then that equals a high-vibrational state which opens the door for a wider variety of experiences. The more open-minded we are, the more thoughts of possible avenues of manifestations for our wishes come to us. The more that is the case, the more the physical equivalent shows in our life- the possibility and probability of the realization of our wishes. We need to be willing to constantly re-invent our journey, to consider everything as possible until disproven, and then we may find what lies beyond the journey. At that point, the destination reveals itself to us; and it is neither good nor bad that we have arrived, not fast or slow, it is just being who we were all along.
