Conscious Creation and Free Will

Respecting the free will of others is a rather central subject to spirituality, I would suggest. Spirituality, according to my definition, is about uncovering the true nature of life, the cosmos, and existence. It's about being ourselves. This is what helps us to be in energetic alignment with the true nature of life. Seeing ourselves as how we really are and seeing life as it really is tend to be an energetic match, because we are made of the very substance of life.

To allow ourselves to acknowledge who we really are is also key for having clear intentions and thus to manifest most effectively what we truly want in our lives. You may look at my article about honesty and the creative process for more information on that.

If allowing ourselves to be who really are in our natural state is closely related to spirituality, then wouldn't it make sense that we need to allow others to do the same if we are to support people in discovering their spirituality (if they choose to)? I would very much suggest that the respecting of other people's free will is central to spirituality, and there is another reason why.

Our world is a mirror of us. That means that if we don't respect other people's free will, we tend to get a mirror in our life which shows others not respecting our free will! Attempting to control or coerce anyone doesn't ever truly serve you. To live a genuinely free, healthy, and happy life, it's necessary to allow others to do the same.

When we do so, we emanate an energy which draws its likeness to us in people, places, and circumstances which have more of a tendency to respect our right to live our life as the unique soul we are. So respecting free will is not just key towards being loving and generally just a light to the world, but also to allow ourselves to be free. There may be other steps to take to ensure that we attract circumstances conducive towards our own freedom, but respecting others' freedom certainly has a tendency to help.

So which world do we want to live in? Which world do we feel would be more suitable for respecting others' right to fulfillment and happiness? If it's the one in which respect of free will is prevalent, then we may want to keep in mind Gandhi's words: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”
