Holographic Manifestation and Visualization
(04.03.2008)
From the notion of our universe being holographic in nature, a lot of things suddenly make more sense. That the universe doesn't actually have any substance is just a hologram, a phantasm of thought, may at first seem slightly 'far out', but there is an enormous amount of scientific evidence to support this. It may be found in the book The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot, but this evidence is not the subject of this essay. What this is rather about is how the holographic universe relates to the manifestation process.
In the holographic universe which is indicated in Michael Talbot's book, among others, there is no such thing as a location in space. This makes sense of one of the phenomenal characteristics of thought, namely that to instantly be a magnetizing force, even for things on the other end of the planet. We literally construct 'space' via constantly believing in it at a subconscious level, but really, there is only one infinity. Everything is right here and now, and all we need to do to experience it is to 'tune in' to it.
And we 'tune in' via our attention. This is what reprograms our subconscious sense of reality, so that a new 'world' may reveal itself to us. It's not really new, but more of a new perception. In a holographic universe, our perception of reality becomes our experienced reality. We don't ever travel to a new place, but rather our perception reveals a place which has already been there all along. Our experience changes when we do.
Our experience is made manifest mainly from the subconscious, and the previous point is supported by how our subconscious doesn't reason or evaluate. It just accepts as true whatever it is being fed by the conscious level. In other words, the subconscious' perception of reality turns into our experience. This is why visualization can be so incredibly useful. To the subconscious, a visualized experience can be just as 'true' as a 'physical' one, and so visualization has the potential to massively rewrite the subconscious program which our lives operate within (for more on this see the subconscious and the law of attraction) .
Another thing which doesn't have an actual existence in a holographic universe is time. There's only the present moment. After all, when we have a memory, when is it taking place? In the present. When we think of the future, when are we doing so? In the now. It's the only thing there is, and the perception of passing time is another program which appears in our experience just because we believe in it at a subconscious level. Clues regarding this can be found in how all effective visualizations are charged with the feeling of already having what is visualized in the present. If we imagine something to be there for us in the future, then that's where it remains....in the future. And seeing as we can only experience things in the present, that is the energy which our visualizations need to be charged with to be truly effective.
