Hypnosis and Manifestation
(05.03.2008)
Hypnosis and manifestation are closely linked. This is not meant in the classical sense in which hypnosis is often defined. What is meant is that we are all constantly in a hypnotic trance of varying degrees. This includes even those who are aware of it. It's just about the depth of that trance.
The foundation of the aforementioned statements is how our experience is made manifest from the subconscious. Our subconscious sense of reality is what determines the parameters within which our experience takes place; it writes the rules of the 'game'. Our conscious levels can reprogram this subconscious rule set if we are aware of the process. But what we get as a result is still manifested from the subconscious. And considering that the source of of our experience is from beyond beyond the conscious level, it is fair to say that it is the result of an hypnotic trance.
Hypnosis involves the planting of suggestions which take effect after the hypnosis session has finished. So the suggestions operate from a subconscious level. The description in the previous two sentences describes how our world vies are often formed. Via sheer repetition, we can take something to be true, and once the subconscious believes it, we look at the world through the belief in question by default.
What occurs when we're using conscious creation is that we're reprogramming our subconscious. When our subconscious is reprogrammed, then a change in our experience follows. The key is really that when the subconscious sense of reality (program) changes, then our experience does as well.
If, for instance, we visualize something as occurring in our experience, then we are rewriting our subconscious program to start to accept it as being in our life. And the more we do that, the more the subconscious will guide our actions to make us behave in line with our achieving whatever has been visualized. We are effectively in an hypnotic trance when doing this, but then, so long as there is a subconscious, we always are.
If our experience comes from the subconscious, then the question which arises is whether there actually is such a thing as free will. And fortunately, there is. What gives us the freedom to choose is our conscious awareness; our ability to observe ourselves and say 'Hold on, this may be the way I see and experience things right now, but that doesn't mean that it's the only way'. We have the ability to imagine things which aren't currently in our physical experience. Awareness is the key, and if we want to open the door to a better lifestyle for us, then it would make sense for us to use it!
