The Law of Attraction and feeling good

Feeling good to invoke the powers of the Law of Attraction is so commonly talked of, that the very notion of it is easy to be taken for granted. Does the idea that you need to feel good all day long to attract at your optimum sound kind of daunting to you? In metaphysical circles, it is often considered a given that the better we feel, the quicker we attract what we want. I wouldn't dispute that, but I think that there is more detail to consider there. Pleasant feelings are very certainly a manifestation booster, but some are more appropriate than others in regards to specific manifestations.

In my experience, it isn't necessary to feel good all day long if we are talking about specific manifestations. All we need to do is to feel good about the subject which we are intending a manifestation for. It definitely helps to feel great throughout the day, as the areas of our lives which we are not at present focussing on in regards to manifestations stay nicely pleasant that way. Maybe we would do well to think of our energy in terms of the analogy of it being like a house full of many doors. One door will be called 'friends', while another may read 'leisure activities', and so on. In order to open a door in this house, we don't need all of the keys. We need just the one key which applies to the door. Having all of the keys would ensure that we could open the door, but it's not necessary. If we are completely sure about what we want to do with our lives; if we are absolutely certain from the very bottom of our hearts, than we may just need to focus on 'one key'. What I mean is not that it absolutely doesn't matter how we feel about the areas of our lives which are not our focus. As I see it, we could just keep a 'neutral' energy in all the areas of our life which we aren't too motivated about. That way, things stay just about the same with those, and we can focus our feeling-good energy on whatever our dream may be. Whether we want to be an artist, athlete, or philosopher, the basic principle is the same. The better we feel about our dream right now, the more we are in resonance with attracting the experience of it. The more we resonate to something, the quicker we attract it.

It's a philosophical question whether feelings actually cause the attraction power which we support our intentions with, or if they are rather just an indicator of energetic resonance. I would suggest that it's a mix of the two, but then again, what does it really matter? What does matter is that feeling great about what you really want in your life helps you to attract it. Note by the way how I said 'what you really want. Feelings are only one part of the equation of how we attract into our lives what constantly appears in such an ever-miraculous fashion. Intentions are another, and a third ingredient may be found in our self-image. When we feel good, it is an indication that we are resonating to those experiences which would make us feel in such a manner, but if we want to attract specific things, we also need a focussed intention. This attunes our energy to that of whatever experience we may really want. The third mentioned factor, is worth exploring further and thus I have written an article about self-image . Maybe this article inspired a thought or two within you? As always it's just the way I see things, and if you've got some feedback, feel free to e-mail me via Info@creationodreams.com
