The Law of Attraction and Surrender   (14.04.2008)
If we wanted to manifest in an absolutely ideal manner, then how may we go about that? Here are several points of consideration I would offer.
It is commonly said that in order to most effectively manifest, we need to feel good as much as possible, but how do we go about that? What makes us feel negative emotion in the first place? The answer is (at least most of the time) resistance. Negative emotion is resistance. Whenever we're feeling bad about something, then there's something which we're resisting. If we didn't care much about it, then we wouldn't feel bad. If someone supports a certain football team and sees them lose, then the reason why they'd likely feel bad is because they resisted their favourite team losing. If they supported another team, they probably wouldn't care.
So we need to effectively 'surrender' to more of life as it's often referred to and not be emotionally attached to outcomes. And ironically, not caring about the outcome of a venture is what gives you amazing power to achieve regarding it. When you really want something and you focus on living from the state of being of already having it all the time to keep on feeling good, then what you're doing is to create an artificial state of surrender. Because all you're focussing upon is that which you approve of. But if you more fully surrendered to life, then you wouldn't need to pay so close attention to what exactly you're focussing on anymore, because increasingly, you feel good while observing almost anything. And from that state of being of consistently feeling good, we are in an excellent position to manifest whatever we want.
If we want something, then we need to allow it into our experience, and allowing what we want is not just about allowing the attainment of it, but also about allowing it's non-attainment. We 'allow' what we want by our feelings, and our feelings are determined by our degree of surrender. So the more we aren't emotionally attached to attaining something; the more we don't care, the easier it is for us to get it. How ironic! Note how 'not caring' in this context can encompass wanting something with a focussed intention, but that it signifies not having your emotions be affected by it. Because for as long as your emotions are determined by the extent to which you have something, there is a tendency to go in circles. This is because your five senses are telling you that it's not there yet, and so when 'caring' about it's attainment you respond with negative emotion-resistance to it not having manifested yet- and slow down the manifestation. The more we feel good independent of circumstances; the more we surrender to life, the easier it is for us to manifest whatever we want.
