On Being Good At Manifesting
If we are to be truly good at manifesting what we want whenever we want it, then as far as I'm aware, it's rather essential for us to feel motivated. Have you ever noticed how comparatively easy it is to stay focussed on something when you're truly motivated to experience it? That in and of itself is already a great help in manifesting, as we become what we focus on.
Now, imagine this scenario: What if you had made your mind up regarding how you wanted to be really good at manifesting from a conscious awareness level, and you wanted to use those skills to create a fantastic lifestyle? That sounds pretty congruent, doesn't it? Good at achieving, and using the skills to achieve. That's a perfect match. Hmm. Or is it?
Well, it can be, but isn't necessarily. If one of our big intentions is to be great at manifesting, then what supports us in that endeavour is motivation. And what generally makes us feel motivated? Dissatisfaction. And what do we tend to feel about a great lifestyle? Satisfaction.
So the intention of being great at manifesting, and the intention of living a fulfilled life can cancel each other out.
Desire powers manifestations, and if our feeling strong desires depends on dissatisfaction, we need dissatisfaction to be good at manifesting. So one of our big intentions could say 'I want to be great at manifesting', while the other states 'I want to live a fulfilled life'. If our manifestation skills depend on feeling dissatisfied to work, then on another level we could be saying:
'I want to feel unfulfilled' (great motivation for manifesting) and 'I want to feel fulfilled' (dream life).
So the two intentions can cancel each other out. This is obviously not ideal, and the solution is for us to be motivated even when we are fulfilled with our present circumstances. This is what harmonizes the intentions in the given example, and creates a much better energy for achievement.
So how do we feel motivated? Well, like with just about anything else, it's something we become. The more we focus on feeling motivated, the easier it gets. But there is more to this, namely how there are two kinds of motivation which I am aware of. One is to be motivated out of a feeling of lack. This is the motivation born out of dissatisfaction which can cancel out intentions. The other motivation comes from appreciation of ourselves and others, and is one which comes from within, rather than without. The two can appear very similar, but aren't the same. When we see something in our lives which we don't fully appreciate, then we can say 'I deserve to live a totally fulfilled life', and act out of that by shifting our focus onto what we would like instead. The dissatisfaction has become a springboard for shifting our focus, and thus energy. Stating 'I do not want this' is to be acting from the state of being of the dissatisfactory condition being there. To behave according to the latter state of being may be described as acting out of fear, while the former is about love.
We need to find motivation from within to be truly good at manifesting, and this is no surprise, really. It tends to be the case that answers are always within us, rather than in the apparently 'external' world. If we appear to figure out something via the 'external', than that is just a reflection of a shift in our own energy, as well. And that includes this article. Worth thinking about, isn't it?
