From Reaction to Attraction Book

The tapestry of life

If we are to truly understand what creates our experience, then it would make sense to study the creation of what is already there. When you've created a work of art and you want to do something similar again, then thinking back at how you did it last time can surely be a great help.

When I look back, I can see some conditions which were always present when I've manifested wonderful things. The first of these is that I felt good in the moment. Feeling good about what is already physically manifest is probably the easiest way to experience this. Note that I'm not talking about completely immersing yourself in the present moment; but rather about feeling good in the moment. Feeling good in the moment is definitely a common theme to great and efficient manifestations. Symbolically speaking, much of personal development seems to inspire people to pretty much push a rock up a mountain. It's about always striving to experience that elusive, magical life which would make you happy. I'm not saying that this can't work, but it seems like a less than efficient way of manifesting things.

When you're in a state of striving for what you want, can you consider yourself to be in resonance with having what you want? Not that much, really. It can seem like a contradiction that focus on the present can manifest something different than what's already there, but as stated there's a difference between living in the present and focussing on just feeling good about it. The two tend to go hand in hand, but I would suggest that they're not exactly the same.

What is meant is that the second of the two, the focus on feeling good in the present can be a quite non-specific good feeling with a lot of manifestation potential. If you feel happy, at peace or grateful, then that is very unspecific. Those feelings could be a conduit for many great things.

If, however, you focus on your presently manifest physical circumstances incessantly, with no intention or visualization regarding any experience beyond that, then I'm not too sure whether that's ideal for conscious creation. To feel good in the present is quite a necessity for effective and satisfactory conscious creation, because a feeling-state of 'I am happy' can easily be an energetic match for whatever you want. In that case, all that's required would be to focus your thoughts on already having what you want throughout some of the day. There appears to be a different method of manifesting things, too, but that is the subject of another essay.

There is also a fantastic side effect of appreciating presently manifest physical circumstances: It helps to not care about whatever is intended as a manifestation. What is meant with 'not caring' is to have no strict emotional attachment to any one set of physical circumstances; saying that it is the only way to be happy. This is incredibly useful for the manifestation process, as I have written about.

Isn't it great that the most effective means of manifesting what you want are very much in line with feeling good? It's almost as if the journey is already the destination. And when you look at it from a point of view of fulfilment, then maybe it is.
